Critically examine the idealist approach in international relations. Do you think idealism has come to an end in today’s world? Comment.

► Idealism in international relation is an approach of dealing a particular event with some inherent assumption of human behaviour like “All human beings are peace loving”, “Human believes in cooperation”, “Its the inherent flaws of environment that compels human being to do wrong things” etc. Idealism as an approach in international relation originated as an aftermath of WW1 to prevent any future war. It led to the formation of   “The League of the Nation AKA The United Nation”. But we all know The league of the nation failed measurably in preventing the preventable war-the WW2. So does it mean that   idealism as a concept is anachronism for International Relations ?. Before we delve into this lets go for an excursion of 19 th Century India. Case Study: 1)Education System before British intervention: →observation of William Adam and many the then writers and sociologist vindicates below observation. →Gurus used to charge more fee from rich and less from middle inc...

Was India always a one nation

▼ Simply put, Yes. To provide strength to my statement I would like to present the prevailing counter argument “Why India was not always a nation” and then will be delving in colonial era in order to corroborate relevant facts to nullify the counter argument.                                                                             Then, I will focus on relevant facts that supports my argument that India was always a nation by going on an excursion to past . British came to India in around 17 th century and around mid 18 th century they got transformed into a political power from an economic one. By doing...

Economic Growth and Development a function of Social forces

Economic Growth and Development a function of Social forces India is a unique combination of urban-rural, agricultural-industrial and formal-informal skill components and as such India’s development plan or its trajectory is unique in terms of interventions, ideas as well as approaches mimicking the unique social milieu . With one of the world’s youngest population to its advantage, India has tremendous potential. The wheels of transformation have full potential to bring a paradigm shift like, making government an “enabler” and not mere “provider”. As Prime Minister himself once observed, “If India is to meet the challenge of change, mere incremental progress is not enough. A metamorphosis of is needed.” As he stated the transformation of India cannot happen without transformation of governance, the transformation of governance can’t happen without transformation of mindset. And these mindsets are mostly and outcome of society. In this Essay we are going to explore many int...

Smearing the face of justice

Justice loses character if it becomes Revenge. Lynching by mob, of “cow smuggler”, killing a person allegedly involved in “Human trafficking”, or the recent one encounter by police of 4 people allegedly involved in heinous crime like “Rape” are some of the incident that nourishes a belief system of revenge mentality . Celebration of such incident by common people is nothing but celebration of social coronation of these amature revenge seekers in par of judiciary. The person for which revenge was taken, had he/She been alive, He/She must have asked the perpetrator the most crucial question “ WHY” . This is the same why that judiciary investigates, this is the same “WHY” that has now been buried by these revenge seekers. “Judicial system” of any country is like “Economic prosperity” both are has become very complex but are flourishing because of very fundamental philosophy “ Faith” . Faith on Currency and Justice delivered by judiciary keeps economy and Judicial system respe...

RBI’s decision to cut repo rate

RBI decides to cut Repo Rate by 25 basis point : It has become a hot topic of RBI cutting repo rate, so in this article we will try to examine this issue from various possible dimensions. Before we proceed lets define repo rate; In laymen term it’s a rate at which RBI lends money to bank for short term borrowing . I used the term laymen because actually RBI signs repurchase agreement with the banks and both the statement are technically same with slight difference. From definition itself it’s clear that a cut in repo rate could imply: 1) Economy is growing much below its speculated potential. 2) Low inflation New governor of RBI, Shaktikant Das, has many time in his speech made it clear that there is no gap in actual and speculated growth of economy. In another words, Indian economy is growing at it’s potential. Regarding inflation, RBI has been instructed to maintain inflation rate of between 2 to 6 % with 4% as mean. At present CPI inflation (Consumer Price Index) is 2...

http://getyourselfeducated.blogspot.com/2019/02/phulwama-attack-explained.html Comment: Unknown 17 February 2019 at 21:34 It was really informative. The figures are helpful in understanding the situation. However, I am haunted by a constant question. How could Adil drove into the convoy with 350 kg of explosion without anyone's notice. He must have drove to the highway passing through any checklist. I won't be as if he appeared all of a sudden and drove in. Please put some highlight into it ANSWER: Before I answer to this question, we need to have a look in the murky atmosphere of PHULWAMA. Adil Ahmed Dar , the person about whom you asked in my previous article, was a local Kashmiri boy, also the SUV used by Adil was local and not from Pakistan. Why a local guy from Kashmir did this? Assumption: Every person on earth have same feelings irrespective of geographical location. I think it’s a fair assumption to make. 1) Internati...
